Biografía del autor Sobre los autores: Erik Hinterding estudió Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Utrecht y se doctoró con la tesis Rembrandt, the etcher. Ha trabajado en publicaciones y exposiciones con numerosas instituciones como la Fondation Custodia, de París; la Scuderie del Quirinale, de Roma; la Stiftung Weimer Klassik, de Weimar; y el National Museum of Western Art, en Tokyo. En 2013 publicó como coautor el nuevo catálogo razonado de los grabados de Rembrandt. Desde 2012 es conservador en el Rijksmuseum, donde supervisa la colección de grabados de la temprana Edad Moderna. Peter Schatborn es conservador emérito del Rijksprentenkabinet del Rijksmuseum en Ámsterdam. Ha sido profesor invitado del Getty Research Institute en Los Ángeles, y ha comisariado exposiciones en la Fondation Custodia y la Colección Frits Lugt en París, así como en la Frick Collection en Nueva York.
